Undergraduate Student Competition Puts Business Analytics into Action

Our president, John Sammarco, recently served as a judge for the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business in the first-ever Business Analytics in Action Workshop. The event served as a showcase for undergraduate students in BMGT434: Analytics Consulting to present the results of their projects, where they analyzed alternatives to address a complex, real-world problem. The presentations demonstrated excellent analytical, teamwork, and presentation skills. Much thanks to Professor Bruce Golden for planning this successful event and for inviting our participation.
